Which it probably will be. I'm not a big fan of it either, but if a anti-glare cover could be used, and not lose any image quality, that could be an option.

Anyone know when the monitors are coming out? They made a big deal about the 24" monitor that hooks directly up to the new laptops, but when you go to the on-line store it just says "coming soon."

As for overheating, its been a month and I have yet to run into it. My old 15" Macbook Pro never liked hours of use on my lap sitting on the couch, and this one hasn't flinched doing that yet.

I actually wasn't worried about it being flimsy. My concern was the heat spec of the glass screen and the glossy only option for outdoor viewing. I do a lot of Pro Tools recording at live shows, many of which are done outdoors in extreme heat.

So, I ended up getting one of the very last of the previous models. Matte screen, 2.6 gig processor, 200 gig 7200 rpm hard drive, 4 gig of RAM. $1800 new! I am very pleased!
