Antenna Amplifiers?

Does anyone know if the old antenna (co-ax) amplifiers help with the new digital TV? My folks are old school and don't want to go to cable or dish and are getting in most channels, most of the time but want to impove on that.

I know there are inline (on the shaft [heh]) versions and splitter versions.

Any input would be extremely helpful!!

I doubt it They are 2 different types of Technology and work differently.

you would best serve this issue with a amplified digital Antenna.

It depends on the range of signals the amplifier is rated for. It should work if it is rated for the UHF band. That is where the digital signals are carried.

It doesn't matter about different technologies. It is still RF.
