Default Anyone know where I can get SCSI?

A male 50-pin centronics SCSI-1 to USB cable to be more specific?

I have two old apple hard drives from last century and I have no idea what's on them.

Just need an adapter cable and a termination long enough to transfer whatever is on them onto my new computer, then I'm done with them and the hard drives can go bye-bye.

I've looked a bit online to no avail.

I'll be contacting Micro Connectors Inc next business day opportunity but for now, I thought I'd try here.

you might be better off buying a cheap scsi card for your computer, and connecting it that way.

I have an old Adaptec SCSI Card 2906 card that you can have for the low price of drive-your-ass-down-here-and-pick-it-up. I can't guarantee that it still works, cause I haven't used it in years, but it worked when I last used it in a computer. I am sure the drivers are still available online, somewhere. I have no scsi cables to give you, but I found two internal ribbons that fit the card, so I assume they will work. I also have two external terminators, if you need those too. let me know if you feel like driving to Pasadena to get all of this. I don't need any of it.

Hey, thanks for the offer, but my current computer won't accommodate that card.

My old one may but it's down right now.

    I'll keep this in mind.

    Thanks!

    Thanks guys.
Not looking like it will be cheap.
I wonder if it'll be worth it.

I've likely got a cable that goes from Centronics to SCSI2 upstairs.

I've likely got a Mac around that can support plugging that into that you can suck that data off to somewhere.

    Let me go look around.
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.
