Thread: Anyone use Jitterbug?

Welcome to the Brand New Jitterbug J Experience

My wife and I currently have Verizons cheapest plan, which runs about $85/month for both of us. We only use about 100-150 minutes a month and very rarely text. Since I am still unemployed we are looking to save money. According to Jitterbugs website I can get 2 lines with 200 minutes for about $48 plus taxes/fees and no contract. They supposedly use Verizons network, so the coverage shouldn't change. The only drawback that I can see is that you have to buy their phone for about $150 apiece. So does anyone have any comments on jitterbug or any other cheap phone plan recommendations?

Also factor in your termination of service fee if you're still under contract.

Can you get that phone if you're younger than 65? Would you want that phone if you're younger than 65?

Yeah, I was thinking this is something my 65 year old dad would have, but I need to save money, not have a stylish phone. Right now it is all about cutting monthly costs.

I got one for my pops (well over 65) and he likes it. Real easy to use and to see. The minutes roll over for a max of two months as well. I take care of the bill and he talks away.

If you get two jitterbugs, in-network calls don't use minutes (Jitterbug to Jitterbug).
