iTunes LP - this one seems like a pretty cool concept. Basically it's a interactive album booklet in iTunes.

iTunes LP is a way to interactive with new content including videos, photos, lyrics, discography, liner notes and more. Many of the LPs were created by the artists themselves.

Home Sharing - share songs between up to 5 authorized comps, if you add a song on 1 comp it adds to all. Love this.

App Organization - organize your iPhone apps within iTunes and when you sync it they will update on your iPhone, love it.



iPod Nano gets:

Video Camera, Voice Recording & Voice Over - Meant as a competitor to the flip, i might actually get one for this, they start at 150. Or maybe ill just upgrade to the 3GS

iPod touch: The new “magic price point” of $199 has 8GB, with two upsell models at 32GB and 64GB for $299 and $399, respectively. The 16GB model disappears and the rumored camera never appeared, but according to Apple this is still the “funnest” iPod ever.


iPod nano Two models, 8GB at $149 and 16GB at $179. Both models have new features, including: camera, FM radio, and pedometer. All are available in seven shiny, metallic colors: silver, black, purple, blue, green, orange, and pink. There are also the Apple Store exclusives, Product RED, and a yellow/gold.



iPod shuffle: Two primary models, a new 2GB at $59, and a 4GB at $79. There are five colors: silver, black, blue, green, and pink. There is also a 4GB stainless steel model for $99. The tiny music player with the creepy voice—in my opinion—now works with more headphones, too.


iPod Classic: 160GB, $249, two colors, a grayish white and black. The classic got a capacity increase and kept its price. Apparently the rumored demise of the media player with the mechanical hard drive appears to have been greatly exaggerated, unless we’re talking about the Zune.

i like the home sharing idea

meh...nothing here was surprising to me...

the genius mix is pretty sweet so far, itunes interface is even cleaner looking, i like.

The upgrade would probably serve you better on the dollar side. 16GB Nano for $179 or upgrade to a 32GB 3Gs for $299. You're mostly likely doubling your storage from your 16GB 3G (quadrupling from 8GB ). Plus the improved camera on the 3Gs.

Of course, that's if you want to limit yourself to just one device.

Seriously . . . when is Apple going to learn about how to upgrade/patch programs? I understand this is a new version - okay. Full download is fine. But I get really sick and tired of having to download an entire program (thereby having to dodge the Safari, Bonjour, Quicktime tidal wave that comes with it) when they make seemingly small changes in between versions.

What is bonjour? It always asks me to update it.
