    Default AVG is pissing me off

    used AVG for years and never had a problem, but after their last update I keep getting an error message on the startup. I uninstalled and then reinstalled but still getting the same stupid message. So then...whats another free anti virus as good or better then AVG so I can uninstall once and for all and free myself from AVG error message hell.

    I use Microsoft Security Essentials and I like it.

    Other decent free ones:

    I've used Avast for a few years now, and have had no problems. I've also heard good things about Microsoft Essentials.
