    Anyone have any recommendations on good over the ear headphones for a reasonable price?

    Well. I have tried several types and the one I really like is Bose. They are not cheap but they are really worth the extra money.

    if you're going over the $100 range... i'd definitely recommend these as well... maybe even over the Sennheisers

    i actually own the Sennheiser's i posted, and i bought them for about $150 when they were all newfangled and s*** about 5 years ago.

    both of these phones are going to deliver the best response in this price range. Beyer Dynamic makes a pair that are just nasty FLAT for about $250, which is the next step up. they have the DT880's as well for about two hundy, but i wouldn't mix out of those... a little too bright for me.

    Seems to be a pretty good following for the Sennheisers.
    After reading more about them it looks as though that is what I'll go with unless somebody else can recommend anything better in the same price range.
