J/k love my Incredible. But that would have been free.

Just ordered myself a Samsung Omnia II, should be at my doorstep when I get home today. From all that I've checked out on it, should be just as good as any Droid. In fact, several reviews ranked it higher than any of the Droids. I'll see for myself shortly though I suppose.

a week gone by... and I love my incredible. it really is that.

Android 2.2 coming out... shows an increase of 450% in speed. I'm floored by that... because my Incredible is already super fast.

It's amazing what Verizon will do when you call customer service just to ask when your contract is up and how much the pro-rated cancellation fee will be.

Me: "I need to know when my contracts are up."
Them: "I can give you that, but may I ask why?"
Me: "My wife and I hate our Blackberry phones and we want iPhones instead."
Them: "Have you heard of the new Droid Incredible? Let me see if you're eligible for an early upgrade...why, yes. You are!"

Funny how two weeks ago, I wasn't.

Anyhow...Droids Incredible on their way. Backordered, though. Should get them by 6/18.

Do we have a Droid App thread??

No but we need one. i thought about starting an "everything app" thread but i'm not eligible for an upgrade till august.......or am i.....

Walk into any best buy, they have them in stock. I was told if I ordered my phone through Verizon I would have been waiting 3 weeks for it, instead I walked into best buy and got it right away PLUS they gave me 50 dollar discount AND a 4 gb sd card for free. $150 plus 2 yr agreement.....can't complain. The phone is great btw, i've had it for almost a month and still haven't figured all there is to know about it yet. The only bad thing about it is the **** battery life.....but what can you expect from a smartphone?

Got the same deal through Verizon with my corporate discount. Plus %50 off the accessories. Oh well. No big deal.
