OTOH, they are located in baldwin park (according to the folks at xda-developers)

so it should be here soon.
I got mine yesterday and it's a wet applied screen protector. Of course they don't supply anything for it thought. The only thing you get is an envelope with the full body protector kit. You get no solvent, no squeegee, no cloth no nothing.

Oh no instructions either, you have to go to the website to watch an instructional video.

Thankfully i had an old Zagg kit that i used to install it. I had it on for maybe an hour and i just couldn't get over the squishy feel to it. It feels like Invisishield without the orange peel effect. So i pulled it off.

Thankfully my Steinheil Ultra crystal came today and i installed that and love it.

Ever since my Incredible DL'd the latest OS update, it runs TONS of pre-installed apps all the time. I can't stop them...not even with Task Killer. They just start up again right away. My battery doesn't seem to last as long as it used to before the update, either.

    What the hell??

Anyone got any experience with rooting their Android phones? I'm seriously thinking about it to try and get rid of all the BS apps that came with the update.

I have the same phone. I'm having somewhat the same problems..... but since I installed "Juice Defender" the battery lasts a bit longer.
Also the smart bar task killer tends to kill most of the aps I don't want.

Anyone know when the droid x is finally going to get the froyo upgrade? First it was august, then "early" september. I know the unofficial one is out there, but when is it going to be available from verizon?

Last i read was it got pushed back another 2 weeks, so now it's looking like late September before we start seeing froyo.

Just a couple tips regarding battery life, this is what I've found helps. my battery on my X use to last maybe 10 hours at best, now I can get through the whole day and still have 20-30% left.

    1) Adv task killer. Yes some of your apps seem to start back up, but most of them don't.

    2) Juice Defender or battery booster.

    3) Set your screen at 30%. go to settings> sound and display>Brightness. Or for easier access download Dazzle and set u a widget on one of your screens.

    4) Set your screen to shut off at 30 seconds.

    5) Set your battery profile to Battery Saver Mode. Go to settings> Battery Manager> Battery Profile.

    6) Turn your GPS and wifi off when not in use.

These steps will improve your battery and if all else fails do what i did and buy an extended battery :P

if you own the Droid Incredible (like myself)... you can "Bump Charge" your phone

Charge it at night, but when it's done charging, you can disconnect, turn off the phone, and plug the charger back in. It will charge for about 20 minutes more, but add an hour or two to your battery life. Something is not right with the OS to where it says its charged but its really at like, 92%

When I don't bump charge, the battery falls to 90% within the first 20 minutes of use.

If I bump charge, it stays at 100% for an hour or so.

    Only works on DINC.

Has anyone bought a larger battery? Is it worth the $30?

    I bought one of these:

Amazon.com: Seidio Innocell 1750 mAh Battery for HTC Droid Eris to Seidio Innocell 1750 mAh Battery for HTC Droid Eris/Droid Incredible: Cell Phones & Service

Near as I can tell, it's the biggest one that wont change the form-factor. It's added about 2.5 hours usefulness to a full charge.
