I'd go with the HTC Incredible over the N1.

We are the Samurai, the warrior elite who protect and serve. Armed and armored from head to toe, masters of our personal weapons and bound by Honor, Duty, Loyalty, and Honesty. We walk the long path into the places society would prefer forgotten, and chase those demons that most would run from screaming in fear. We are the Samurai.
Blackberry = bad
Android = good
iPhone = better
I say go with the Droid. It's a very cool phone. The only drawback is that it's pretty frickin' heavy for a phone. Though, anyone who has one has gotten used to it.
SERIOUS ? iPhone better than Android ? how so ?
SirJW- both the Incredible and Nexus are made by HTC the Incredible is the newest latest greatest available.
Coverage wise I have no trouble with TMO I never had any issues with Verizon either,Both IMO are better than ATT since the iphone clogged up the ATT system. Generally Verizon is thought to have better coverage, alot depends on where you use it. All offer a 30 day trial

Your on crack, this is the correct order:
iPhone = OK (old technology)
Blackberry = Even older technology
Android = the future
And while the Droid is alittle on the heavy side, it's not the only Android phone. My HTC does almost everything the Droid does, and ways less than a iPhone.
Okay, I'll play.
The Droid is the best Android phone simply because it's made by Motorola and not HTC. HTC phones are all cheap and flimsy like Saturn cars. I've had the displeasure of playing with the G1 and Nexus One and they were both disappointing. The Droid has far more accessories that will turn your device into an entertainment unit, a GPS, alarm clock, etc.
While the Android OS is wonderful and more flexible than the iPhone, you ultimately buy a smart phone for its applications. The iPhone App Store has way more applications than any other mobile platform. When Apple says "there's an app for that" they're not kidding. Believe me, I've had them all... Palm, Android, Blackberry, and WinMo. iPhone was my last stop. While some of the Android phones have taken a few steps ahead of iPhone, I'm confident that Apple will cover some ground and gain a bit more with the next release of the iPhone this summer.
Let's also not forget that anything that you say you can do with your Android phone that I can't with my iPhone can be achieved with a simple jailbreak... except for maybe flash photography.
I love the APP argument I hear it daily at the ATT stores. the average person uses 8 apps on a daily basis and 15 monthly. While you may have 100K for iphone and only 30K for Android show me an app that you use that is NOT available on iphone.
just to be fair I will do the same for Android---WaveSecure- it can track your lost android device and give you the phone number of the new SIM put into when it gets lost/stolen
Is it $30 now for a full data plan on Verizon if you get a "smart phone"? I have the ?LG Dare, and have the grandfathered $15 unlimited plan, but I guess that's not available anymore?
