    Default Bose Companion 3

    Anyone have these computer speakers? Was at Best Buy today and they sounded GREAT. I'm amazed that sound like that can come from such small speakers. I'd like to know if anyone has these or something similar/better. They go for about $225.

    Bose is very overrated. For that price range, I would suggest looking at the Logitech THX certified speakers. Much more bang for your buck.

    M-Audio - Studiophile 4" Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) - Studiophile AV40

    check these out. i'm actually planning on buying a pair in a week or two.

    yeah klipsch makes awesome speakers.


    me though, i'm a paradigm and NHT guy. too bad good speakers are so damn expensive!

    I saw these mentioned in a customer review on Amazon and would like to hear them. I don't remember seeing them at Best Buy. Anyone know where I can see/hear these? I want to say that the speakers were about half the price of the Bose.

    I just tried hooking up my Logitech computer speakers that I forgot I had to my laptop and they aren't loud enough, which brings up a question. Can the type of computer affect the volume of speakers? My laptop is a low end Dell, if I get better speakers, will they be louder? Or does the computer define that.
