Thread: Cannot update to itunes 9.03

Plugged in new nano and a screen pops up and says device cannot start until I update to new version of itunes. I have tried installing 4 times but no luck. I am only tring to install itunes, I uncheck bonjur and the other item. Cannot remember what it was. I even went to tools and clicked download only. Any ideas.

Why un-check Bonjour?
That's the program locates the ipod.

No it isn't. Bonjour is a communications "protocol" that allows users to connect and share information in a network. It is irrelevant to iPods and iPhones.

As for updating iTunes, just go to the Apple site and download the iTunes installer and run it. It should run an upgrade.

The other item would be Quicktime. What OS are you on? Apple has stopped supporting XP which might be the issue.

My son had issues with his ipod for months. Just the other night he updated Quicktime and waala everything works just fine.

Buy a Zune.
