Cell phone help
I'm on T-Mobile and have to get a new phone. (I lost my Moto KRZR at the Raiders/Chargers game yesterday). I am thinking about a Blackberry Pearl and was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with this phone. Also, if anyone can recommend a good phone that I can use for web browsing, texting, organizing my appointments, etc.
I'm open to move to a new carrier if the new carrier can port my # and give me a phone for FREE. Also, I do text a lot so I'll need a company that offers an unlimited texting package. I would love to go to Verizon but they charge for EVERYTHING and I prefer to have the ability to put my own ringtones and wallpapers on the device.

Where the hell did SBU go?
OP, I bet you didn't lose it. I think a Raider fan stole it

I am currently using the 8525 from HTC/Cingular. Email, text, pretty much everything you need from a phone.
You aren't going to get it for free, but amazon does have it cheap.

I'm a fan of the Treo and every carrier has some version of it.

thanks for the input guys....I opted for my first choice...The BB Pearl from T-Mobile. I contemplated making the switch to Verizon but the phone would have cost more as would everything else. T-Mobile's "My Faves" plan was way too enticing. I was able to cut down my calling plan to a cheaper one since I only really talk to the same 3-4 people all of the time.
