The writing for these 34K jobs has been on the wall for MONTHS now. Tomorrow we'll get a new president who can hopefully help this country get these people employed.

Newegg and Amazon have better customer service than BB or CC...I'll continue to try to shop at these locations.

My store was already out of Blu-Ray players, and much of the high end stuff before the store opened which makes me think the staff got to it first

Just got back from mine. 20% off pretty much the entire store including the 8 dvd's I bought. Other than that, it was massive mayhem of monumental proportions with myriad men and women moving to and fro

The line was a mile long out the door at mine--I'll try and see if anything is left during the week

I agree. THe only store I can think of is Fry's.

FRYS sucks donkey balls. Every time I have gone, all I have seen them do is try to sell me opened merchandise as new, and hound me like a used car dealer, even when I said I will ask if I need anything

Good for me that I do all my electronics shopping at "Two Guys"

Reminds me of Mervyns a few months back.

They claim it was 40-50% off. But normally, their jeans would sell for around 25 bucks.

Then the same pair of jeans would suddenly be around 30 bucks WITH 40-50% already taken off. Yet people still purchased it as if they were getting a deal.

This part is true too. I went back to Mervyns when it was finally 75%-90% off... and everything left pretty much did not apply to my needs.

Now I wonder what I should do with Circuit City =x
