December 2009 Photography Theme: Ugly Made Pretty
Alright. Fine. Here it is, you buncha whiners.
"WahhhIdon'thaveanyinspiration!!"
"WahhhImissthePhotoChallenges!!"
Just to help you all get over it, already, here's the first monthly photography theme thread. No winners. Open and stickied to the top of the forum all month long.
Just one rule: You have to be the one who took the picture.
December 2009's theme:
UGLY MADE PRETTY
That's right. It ain't supposed to be easy, now is it??
Find something that most people would consider ugly or not worthy of note and take a picture of it in such a way that the final image is beautiful/pleasing to the eye/breathtaking/interesting/blahblahblah/insert another adjective or descriptive here. Use whatever the hell technique you want to use, I don't care. And if anyone else wants to know how you did it, we'll damned well ask. I mean, this sort of dangerous photography should really be left to the professionals in the first place, right?
Just go out and do it, already.

Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Bullets are cheap. Life is priceless.

Cool. Now that I have more time, maybe I can get something in for a change instead of admiring the great work everyone does...

Well.
This fell flat on its face, I guess.
