Thread: Dislike Vista? Then you will love Mojave

Vista sux ass. I get host process errors, I get programs shut down unexpectedly, I get blue screen crashes, memory management errors. It's a ****ling disaster. Can't figure anything out to fix it.

I just bought a Dell a month or two ago because they still offered XP. I think they're charging like $50 extra now to "downgrade."

I've also heard good things about Ubuntu (Linux). I downloaded it but haven't installed it on anything yet.

Vista w/ 4GB/memory is a fine OS. You can make it behave like XP does and turn off all the opacity and extra overhead that comes with Vista.

Then you have just been lucky so far. The constant nagging you for permission, or it forgetting that you gave your permission already. I see network problems on a weekly basis on different computers. Yes, some are user related, but many are driver problems.

This os looks nice, but functions poorly.

You can always run a Windows 2008 Server Workstation. Do a search for Windows 2008 Workstation in Google, and you can download a free eval version of Windows 2008 Server that lasts 240 days. It runs faster then Vista. I have been using it for a week at home, and it works great.

You can't turn off the DRM and EULA.

And 4GB doesn't give you driver and software compatibility. A lot of companies are not updating their stuff for vista because they know everyone hates it.

I'll stick with XP and hope for a better Windows 7. But I'm already on Linux and rarely use my Winblows machine.
