I don't know if it's mandatory to add a data plan. I know AT&T forces iPhone users to tack on a data plan. Will Verizon force Droid users to do the same? If not, you can always jump on wifi and utilize its features if you're hesitant paying for a $30 data plan.
meh
only thing i'm interested in is the gps navigation. that looks like its going to kick the iphone's ass. aside from that, its meh. i'm sticking with my iphone.
This phone looks good. I have the Dare right now with a $15 unlimited data plan. If I get the droid, that will be raised to $30 right?
Holy ****, SBU, I'm in love with the X10! Any idea on price?
ALOT depends on if a US carrier picks it up If it comes toa US carrier it will be under 400 with contract. If not closer to 800 on release but no contract and no 30 data plan required. I run my X1 on a 10 plan with push corp email, Wifi and ATT 3G.
Rachel is quite the hottie, officially it will announced today. Being Android TMO is the US carrier that would be the logical choice. We'll see what happens to the Iphone exclusive contract with ATT, rumored to be ending late 2010. I din't see ATT getting into the android market until that relationship has run it course.
LAter this month select agents will now get the iPhone, that was a surpise to most that they got it before Xmas.
the Satio is another beautiful phone, so is the Aino that came out last week
I have been looking at this phone and the Moto Droid and I am going with the Droid only because the X10 doesn't have WiFi connectivity. at least according to Sony Ericssons website. The screen isn't going to be that much bigger and it has the same resolution as the Moto Droid has twice the storage as the X10 too. I am only guessing but I think T-Mobile will pick up the X10 Verizon is running with the Droid and is AT&T really going to go with the iPhone and the X10?
