Just beginning to delve into this beauty, and I have never had a smartphone before...but I LOVE this phone. apologies to Kingsqueen...I am a hypocrite! Said I would never buy a smartphone. That aside, this phone has a great real keyboard(only reason i did not get the droid eris)and the first thing you will notice is how solid the damned thing is. You can change out the battery and upgrade the memory so this is a phone that may have lasting power. Battery power is a little dicey, but i haven't figured out how to download appkiller, which apparently helps manage power consumption. The touch screen is scratch resistant but prone to smudges...spend the $12 for the 3 pack of plasic stick on screen protectors...very much worth it. It's very responsive and for someone with clumsy fingers, it is very forgiving. This is a great phone that will only get better. I will post more as I get accustomed to it. If you are a verizon customer, due for a 'new after 2' you can get it for $149 and you can get a second one for free(of course you gotta do the 2 year plan etc for the second phone...but if you and a significant other want to get phones together...).
