Moving image, to say the least. I'd crank the contrast and black levels a bit, but that's just me.
Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Bullets are cheap. Life is priceless.
I have bright window behind my monitor in the afternoons and it's hard as hell to get the tints right.
Look out! I got my $15 PC cord so now I can go off camera and be a cool Strobist.
I don't know what this is... but I thought it looked cool and snapped a shot... what do you think?
... ps.... nice shot RR... your dog likes to sit still for your photos... haha

Strobist DVD is out![]()
OK, I decided to get serious about lighting and picked up a few Vivitar flashes and some pocket wizards. Coming next day air from B&H. Not sure if I can impliment them in time for Saturday's Derby Dolls bout but by next month I should have a multi-flash setup if all goes well. Also, it should help the rest of my photography as well to have multiple lights available.
I just have to get over this buyers's remorse first.![]()
Well, the Vivitars are cheap enough that there shouldn't really be any remorse over those, they are a great deal (how many did you get?) and Pocket Wizards, you are safe knowing they are second to none, don't depreciate much, built like tanks. There is a reason that they are industry standards. I envy your PWs(I have crappy knock offs which are nothing but a headache)
And now you have the PWs, you can sneak it into Staples and mess with their photogs by popping their flashes![]()
