DVD Copy software?
Anyone know where I can get a trial version to legally copy a DVD (for home use only of course).
I had DVDFAB gold and it no longer allows me to copy DVD's w/the copyright protection. If I DL an older version it automatically updates for newer versions which don't allow me to copy.
What I have used in the past are DVD43 (works in the background on any DVD) and DVD Decrypter. It's been a while since I have used either one so I don't know if either program is really up to date. From what I can learn is that DVD Decrypter is no longer updated. Its latest version is from 2005.
These programs are used in conjunction with your other DVD authoring/ripping software.
i use dvd shrink (http://www.dvdshrink.org/what.html), you have to have nero as well though
Very simple here!
RipIt4Me-decrypter that will also work in conjunction with DVDdecripter. Together these two programs will decrypt nearly every movie up to the present.
To compress a dvd9 to a dvd7 (a dual layer dvd to a single layer 4.7Gb) use dvdshrink which will also be able to break some of the DVD protections out there.
Sometimes dvdshrink and ripit4me is all you need. Any will smith movie will need dvddecrypter though...lol
Any questions let me know.
Hmmmm. First you start a thread searching for "free" movie sites. Now you're asking for a "legal" DVD copier.
Boy, if I didn't know better I would think you're stealing movies. But I don't know better, so...
I use DVD Shrink (which needs Nero to work as said above). Every now and then there is a disc that won't work with Shrink (ie. Dead Poets Society) and for those rare occasions I use RipIt4Me and Decrypter to work the issue and then burn it with Shrink.
You're just making backup copies of movies you already own, right?;)
I don't like your tone. What are you trying to imply!
