I've had the newer iPhone earbuds that came with my iPhone 5, the ones that are white with hard plastic buds. But these are painful to wear after more than half an hour. I'm looking for something I can jog and work out in. I looked on Amazon, but there are so many different kinds it is overwhelming.
Just wondering if any of you have expertise in this area. For example, I saw a pair on Amazon (Panasonic RPHJE120K In-Ear Headphone for $6.59), but the very low price has me skeptical. I know there's always Bose and Beats headphones, but I believe Beats are way overpriced and way overrated.
I don't have a ceiling for budget. I just want quality, comfort (something that doesn't make my ears hurt), good sound (obviously), and something that goes inside the ear and not some humongous muffs.
Used to have Skull Candies too but those didn't stay in my ears very well when I jogged.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought these a few months back, and they are great for running. However, they are discontinued Amazon.com: Pioneer SE-CL721-H Headphones- Red/White (Discontinued by Manufacturer): Electronics. But, it shows that price isn't everything, as these were pretty cheap.
I also have bluetooth earbuds for running. It took me a while to figure out how they worked (the user manual is written by the same person who does IKEA directions) but now I really like them. They are wireless, fit well, and don't fall out when running. These are the ones I got: http://www.amazon.com/JayBird-BlueBu...ird+bluebuds+x

If you are still looking for some good headphones that are inexpensive but work very and have a pretty good sound I recommend these. They are very highly rated on Amazon and are really good at staying on during a run:
Of course, I am an audio snob so I have these for working out:

I hate ear buds...they never stay in and when you jog just an overall pain in the ass. Now, I simply go to big lots or Daiso find a cheap pair that has the over the ear holder/clip. My wife bought me a pair of sony that stopped working after about a week(signal gave out in one channel.)
I figure if Im working out or jogging the ear phone is going to get sweaty and stinky anyhow and if im spending good dough I may as well go for a good set of over the ear style I can relax with and enjoy higher format music in the home. Below is the style I like when exercising. Big lots you can find under $10 at Daiso you can get for under $5.
