Default EVO LTE (HTC ONE X) or S3 (S3)

So it's that time of the year where I have a free upgrade for Sprint and I'm torn between the EVO LTE or the S3. Since I can't decide I'll leave it up to LGK to take the blame for my misery for the next 2 years.

I'm confused.....are we talking about the Samsung Nexus, or the Samsung Galaxy S III that's supposed to come out soon? Sprint has both, and they also have the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G. I was considering the Galaxy II Epic a few weeks ago, until I heard that the New EVO LTE was coming out. Then I heard about the Galaxy S III, and THAT looks very impressive. Anyways, I got the EVO LTE a week ago, and couldn't be happier with it. A big improvement over the EVO 4G that I've had for 2 years now. I doubt you'll be disappointed with whichever phone you get. Also, you have 30 days to exchange the phone if you're not happy with it.

I'm talking about the S3 that just came out yesterday (June 21) vs the EVO LTE (HTC One X). I already tried out the Galaxy Nexus for both Sprint and Verizon and to be honest my Epic Touch 4G had a better Quadrant score and when I rooted my ET4G to ICS it felt so much better.

Thanks for your opinion on the EVO LTE. I wouldn't mind trying out the 30 day exchange but with the delays that has been rumored for the S3 I don't want to get stuck paying the $35 restocking fee. I'm just worried about the EVO LTE because you can't replace the battery and although I do have the external battery charger I spend way too much time on my phone and don't want to end up stuck with no way to swap out my battery. How has your experience been with the battery?

Battery life has been pretty good so far. With moderate use, I can go about 12 hours and still have about 40% battery life left. I have the mp3 player running all day at work while checking facebook, twitter, LGK, email, and a few other things throughout the day. Also, while you can't uninstall the bloatware, you can disable it. My wife has also noticed an increase in battery life from her old EVO to this one. Apparently she watches a lot of Netflix while at work, and she says there's no battery drain.
