    Default Free virus protection

I have a Dell PC that came with free virus protection and am happy with it. The problem is that I also run two laptops off my home network that currently don't have any virus protection. I have heard from people that there is some free virus protection on the internet, but am a little sceptical of them doing more harm than good. Any suggestions? The VP I have for my desktop is Trend-micro PC -cillin. I had never heard of it before getting it on this system, but things seem to be going good with it. I use Verizon for my DSL, do they have something I could use as well?

I dont think it works for Vista as they claim yet.. I was unable to install due to corrupted/missing files from the download.

Try downloading again from a different mirror (if available). You can always try Free virus protection for your home PC as well.

Avast! seems to work very well with my Vista machine. On all previous OS' I used AVG, but it just doesn't get along very well with Vista.

A friend of mine in the computer field says Avast! is the best free one out there. Add one more vote.

I've used AVG for years and will download it once again as soon as the virus protection that came with this new pc has expired. AVG is the best!!
