Aside from games, what kinds of things do you do on your computer that I can't do on my mac?

Also you hit it right on the spot! If you dont own a Mac you are either cheap or pooooooor! I mean I would love to spend an extra $600 for a cool logo on my laptop also I bet you take your macbook super extra pro to the local starbucks and pretend to right a screenplay as well right?

How about Microsoft Access and SQL but my original point was besides art and graphics program the MAC isn't any different than any other PC. So why overspend?

My whole argument isn't about which OS or company is better it's just the smugness that people get when they jump from one ship to another. I like Apple/Android/Microsoft products. Trust me I'd be saying the same crap if someone started their post with FU Apple or FU Android.

That logo keeps me away from constant BSODs and viruses. Apple also designs their operating system so that it runs ever so efficiently on the hardware.

I don't think I'm better than anyone. I will say that at least 90% of Apple haters have never owned an Apple computer in their life. I said the same crap about Mac until I was forced to use one at a company I worked for about 5 years ago. If you haven't used it, you don't know **** and your opinion doesn't mean jack.

By the way, I'm an IT director. One would think I know a thing or two about personal and business computing, eh?

It's not that PC users hate Apple or it's products. It's the smugness that people get when they switch over. I love apple products. I've used a MAC before, it's great! iPods, iPhones, iPads...there all wonderfull pieces of equipment. And yes, they work flawlessly (nearly). But, as a PC, and Android owner, I'll say the same thing about my Toshiba laptop, and my HTC EVO. They work great! maybe not right off the bat, but a little tweeking here and there, and they work just as well as any apple product out there. And they're not as expensive.
