I just don't like Apple's interface. It seems clumsy and different, but just for the sake of being different. Further, with the rest of the world working in a Windows environment (specifically using Excel, Project, Access, etc.), the Mac we bought was particularly difficult to use. If it was just for internet tinkering, I can see the appeal, but for a business machine, I'll take my PC any day. Further, with iTunes being the music source, I wouldn't use it as a music acquisition/storage device either. Finally, now that the iPhone is available on the Verizon network, it's nowhere near as bad a device, but the whole anti-open source software thing really irritates me.
Long story short, we sold the iMac for half what we paid, and got an amazing PC for the same money. Further, you can keep the Apple mobile software, and you can have my Droid device when you pry it from my cold, dead hand.
