Yes you do need a invite, if you want one PM me.
I have 2 gmail accounts and yesterday for 5 hours I could not log on to one of them. The other one was fine.
Seems like one of their email servers went down hard.
Only happens sometimes FYI for non-gmail people.

I like it but I miss Outlook and MSN a little. I like my folders and Gmail doesn't do folders. You can put labels on things. My inbox is messy and I hate it, but I like the storage.

Archive everything. Then you will have a clean/empty inbox.

gmail has rarely given me any problems. I have been using it for a few years now and can only remember one or two times that it was ever down for me. Anyways, I have like 80 invites left still if anyone wants an account.

I recently signed up for 2 gmail accounts. I did not have or need an invitation. I just went to the site and clicked on the link to open an account.

Also, you can set outlook up to be your gmail client. Here is how: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...e=f&ctx=search

I just wished their spam filters would work a lot better...because everything I'm getting is going straight to the trash rather than to my inbox or SPAM folder...

Or at least have them get the settings to where the messages you want go straight to the inbox...

BTW...I have 77 invites left in this account...

The filters work perfectly for me. I don't think I've ever once gotten spam in my inbox. In fact, right now I have... 591 emails in the spam box. And considering I empty it regularly, that's pretty damn effective.

I haven't gotten any spam in my inbox...but I also haven't had stuff I want to receive in my inbox... It's just the way they set up the filters...and I've been on them to change the options to include an always go to inbox feature with some of their filters... It takes about ten minutes each for me to sort everything out of the trash...and I'm getting sick of this...
