A Good Point and Shoot Digital Camera
I'm looking to buy my mom a good point and shoot digital camera. She's heading to Tuscany in the Spring and I think it would be nice for her to have a hassle free camera (with great digital output of course) for the trip. She's techno savvy enough to download the pictures on to the computer and upload them for prints via the local retailer...but its the mechanics of the camera itself I'm concerned about. I've been looking at display models at Best Buy, etc. and there's just so many buttons! I have a Canon Rebel EOS, which I just love, but I don't want to hassle her with all the photo options, setting, lenses, etc.
Just looking for a simple turn it on, zoom, shoot, view picture, shut off kind of deal. Just wondering what any of you may personally use, recommend or have given as gifts with success...Thanks for the input everyone!

Cannon a560 is what we have. WE love it. My dad is NOT technical savvy either, and gets along fine with it.. We saw him with it, and return went out and bought one for ourselves...

We've got a Canon SD600 and we love it! Great camera and a nice size. You should be able to find them all over the place for under $300

I don't really want to spend more than $250-300. Obviously, the cheaper the better, but I don't want to be cheap when it comes to quality...so, if its [U]really[U] good, then I'd pay a little more.
Thanks!
