    I re-installed, with no luck, but a simple reboot worked. For now.

    I have yet to find a perfect browser. I use a combination of IE8 and Firefox and they both have their ups and downs. I also seem to have Safari on my computer but I have yet to actually use it.

    Google and FF are both great and both have good features but not the same. FF has better add ons but I'm sure google will catch up.

    Chrome has a ton of extensions for it. Some websites don't work yet with chrome but that is quickly changing but the majority of the people still use Internet Exploder for a browser. I don't have IE installed mainly because I am not using windows but I can install it if I wanted to. But I have seen problems with Chrome but that is related to my OS and not the browser.

    I have seen the same problems with Safari on Windows as IE has so you may get the same issues or you may get lucky.

    you can also try the Opera broswer too
