Thread: Google Chrome or Firefox

Chrome all the way. Faster, smoother, cleaner. I also noticed a few compatibility issues (wouldn't open pdf's for example), but I'm sure they'll fix that sooner or later.

Just tested Chrome again. Other than the quarter of a second quicker the browser opened I don't notice any difference in speed. Until they add a drop down menu in the address bar I will stick with Firefox.

there is an add-on for Chrome. It's called IE or something like that, you just press on the "e" logo after it's downloaded..and it switches your chrome browser into an internet explorer browser..

I use both, since each has features I like.
Chrome is still behind on add ons such as the killer firefox ebay one...

Good to know. I used that add-on when I used Firefox but I never thought to check for it with Chrome, Thanks.

I read on another forum that Chrome records all the pages you view, so it's not worth it to me.

open chrome and hit CTRL+SHIFT+N and it will record nothing at all in your anonymous window

and FYI all browsers do that. And when you clear your history that information can still be retrieved if you know what you are doing.

I use Chrome too, but have Safari and Firefox installed due to compatibility problems/ I think the biggest problem I have is streaming netflix movies on Chrome. It won't work. A few other incompatibilities, but overall, I usually stay on Chrome.
