Google Chrome or Firefox
I want to install a new browser but don't know which to use. I'm going to "test drive" it on my laptop before installing it on my pc. Would like some opinions and pros and cons of each.

I was an avid supporter of firefox for a long time, and just made the switch to Chrome last week, and I give an emphatic vote to chrome.
Not only is it cleaner and a bit faster, but most importantly for me, it treats each tab as it's own process on PC. When I used to open multiple tabs on FireFox, it would use up a ton of memory and boot me offline all the time. Not so with Chrome.

I would install both. Chrome doesn't display everything yet. But is hands down the faster better browser.

Chrome is "better" but I hate it, and detest using it. I really like Firefox for what it's worth.

I switched to Chrome on OSX and absolutely love it compared to Firefox and Safari.

I had Firefox then went to Chrome, I enjoyed it because it was very smooth. Switched back to Firefox though because Chrome had compatibility issues with a few applications that I needed for work and school.

I've been a faithful Chrome user for a few months now. Me likely!

I used Firefox for years. I switched to Chrome when it came out. I prefer Chrome. There are some compatibility issues so on those rare occasions I will copy the url into IE.

Firefox user for years, but I'm a Chrome convert. Faster, better, stronger!

Wow, seems pretty one sided, looks like I'll try Chrome. Will have to see if I run into any compatability issues as mentioned.
