    Anyone have any good suggestions for free BlackBerry apps?

    Which BB do you have, FBJ? When I had one, I'd visit crackberry.com and blackberryforums.com to learn about BBs.

    I just ordered a new blackberry storm to take overseas. Was this a mistake? Is it better to get the blackberry global version with the keypad? What are the problems with the blackberry and the best tutorials available? Any feedback would be appreciated

    It's a 8330 Curve on Verizon.

    I'm totally behind the times, just now getting into the BlackBerry scene. But this thing finally came down in price, and when I went to upgrade my wife's phone (a Moto Krazr that was absolutely fugged up thrashed), I realized I could get her a BlackBerry Pearl for $0 and me the Curve for $49 after rebates. I looked at the Storm but I didn't care for the touch-screen.

    Regarding the new Storm, half of those that I've dealt with were defective in some way out of the box.

    I love my BB Curve but I just ordered the LG Dare as I switched from AT&T to Verizon. The phone comes tomorrow. If I don't like it then I will go back to the Curve. One thing is for sure I did not like the Storm.
