C'mon, where's "I Remember You", "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" "Rock You Like a Hurricane" "Take Me Home Tonight"?
Put those 4 tracks in place of "18 and Life", "Nothin' But a Good Time", "No One Like You" and "Shakin'" and I'm sold on this game.
My thought is that it's retarded that they made it only for the ps2.
The Original Pancake Hater
I think this is a nod to the fact that anyone with this platform only cannot download new songs once GH3 comes out.
I could be wrong.
Song one: Bang Your Head. I did the Gene Simmons tongue waggle as I shredded on my Van Halen-inspired plastic guitar.
I have no life.
Meh. I think it's being developed by NEVERSOFT (of the Tony Hawk games), since Harmonix was purchased by MTV. I don't expect any great advancements in the gameplay. I think Neversoft/Activision had to build the game from scratch - Harmonix owns the Intellectual Property, not Red Octane (the publisher of Guitar Hero, whom Activision purchased).
The game to wait for is Rock Band. I just hope they get the Drum parts right. I played a PS1 import from Japan (I was into Guitar Freaks back then), and the drumming really sucked. I also look forward to playing through entire albums that will be offered as downloads after the game is out. The first one announced is "Who's Next" by The Who - Baba O'Riley is going to kick ass!!!
I never understood the fasination with Guitar Hero. Why not just buy an actual guitar and learn to play?
Great point. Why not buy a football, run a 4.3 40 and get drafted by the Cowboys instead of buying Madden? Why not lace up a pair learn to skate faster than Pavel Bure, pass like Gretzky, all while hitting like Scott Stevens instead of buying NHL 08? Why not pick up an actual basketball learn to shoot from the outside like Ray Allen, run an offense like Steve Nash and carry an underachieving team on your back like Kobe Bryant.
Go away hater.
