DragonForce's "Through the Fire and Flames" is unlocked when you beat the Career-Mode. It's extremely difficult.

Wiimote use Bluetooth to interface with the Wii. I think all the IR receiver on the wiimote does is pickup the two points of light from the sensor bar or candles.
I would think the guitar has a cable that plugs into the nunchuck port on the back of the wiimote in order to transmit button presses via bluetooth.
How is it having string sounds and whatever coming from the wiimote? Does it add to the overall fun?
So I picked it up this afternoon, beat it on Medium. Starting on hard. It's fun. Good songs, they did a good job on getting the singer's lip syncing down, and the wireless guitar is nice.
The only thing I can't decide is which is the biggest piece of **** song in the history of the universe: Raining Blood, or 3's & 7's. Talk about a ****ty mess of noise.
The Original Pancake Hater
I played it tonight, and it seemed difficult for me at medium. Devil went down to GA is a bitch to play!
I'm waiting for Rock Band. Yes to Gimme Shelter and Creep...!
I picked it up for PS2 today. I still have the 80's Encore to play through first.
It is cool and awkward to play as Slash.
Bad ass nonetheless
It definately seems like it's harder to 5 star songs, but it seems to me like they also made it harder to fail a song. I didn't fail my first song until I got to Slipnot on Hard, which is in the second to last bracket of songs.
Rock Band does look like it's going to be cool, but it's going to be freakin' expensive. Oh well, what can you do?
The Original Pancake Hater
I got the Wii version for my Birthday.
It's way more fun than I expected! I never had any of the older ones, and I only played them a few times at friends houses.
My only complaint would be that the sound is pretty crappy. There is no surround sound to speak of and I'm not sure, but I think all the sound is coming out mono from the center speaker - and when you hit star power it kicks in some reverb that makes everything sound all muddy. I know my Wii does surround on my receiver because other games work fine - I thought it was just that my receiver is old but then today I saw on Engadget that there is an issue with the sound on Wii's with GHIII.
