Well my choice is the Nexus Prime, only because i love rooting and the Nexus will have an unlocked bootloader. Leaving the phone to be fully customizable. Keep in mind the RAZR has no removable battery and the Prime has no removable SD card, although i hear it will be 32 GB internal storage.

Just got a Droid 4...sorry, I don't need an amoled display and I JUST LOVE the keyboard. Question...the main color scheme on the backgrounds is this crappy metally blue. Can I change that? There seems to be no option in the display menu but you guys may know something. If not a change in the phone can someone recommend some sort of downloadable theme that I can use to change the background color? Thanks in advance.
download ZEDGE fro the market they have tons of wallpapers adn themes. Or use a picture you took.
From your homescreen hit the menu button and a THEMES menu might come up, does on SONY, you can choose a different one there
Nope. No luck there. Any apps you can recommend as far as changing the theme?
Nevermind...didn't see that top part of your post. Sorry
I'm assuming your talking about the blue font and scheme on the task bar and theme of the phone? Only way to change that is rooting it. Different ROM's give different looks. Motorola locks their bootloaders so rooting it can be tricky. I've never tried a Droid 4 and have no idea how hard or easy it is. My Droid X was pretty easy.
If you're feeling risky head over to the XDA website and read up on rooting and ROMing. Just remember your basically voiding your warranty should you brick your phone.
Yup. Thanks for the info. I have gotten around it mostly by using go sms pro as my default app for text messaging and chat functions, so I will just muddle through with it other than voiding my warranty. It's odd that they don't offer you choices, hell i would even throw them a buck or two for an app that lets me customize. Still...I LOVE my droid 4. I stuck with the original droid forever(love that little tank of a phone) but it just got to be too slow. With 4g and dual processor the phone is pretty greasy slick fast, especially on WiFi. And, yes...the screen is not as...as the iPhone, but the physical keyboard is just really tremendous and to me that's a fair tradeoff. Anyone know if I will ever be able to download IceCream Sandwich for this???

Jersey as long as you have at least 1GB if RAM you will be able to. The real question with ICS, or any update, is when will the carrier release it in the US. I would bet you will see an update in the next few months
IMO there is very little ICS offers and it will suck up your resources. I am not upgrading my unlocked devices. I will wait for jellybean and see what it offers
