Thread: How safe are proxy websites (proxy.org)

If I want to use one of those sites to check my gmail or go on facebook, how safe is it? If I use one with SSL encryption, will that be good enough? Or is it better to just stay away?

Are you using it at work because it is blocked? or do you just want to not be tracked?

Both. Don't really care that much if it's tracked though, I just want to be able to use e-mail and maybe facebook.

I use proxy websites. They seem safe, just a lot slower. It's the only way I can watch BBC Radio One content (music videos) since I don't live in England.
