No I did not, he did not have it on. I am bummed i did not push it, but his neighbor had an open wifi so I did not need it. It is a little heavy at first, but then once you realize what that thing can do you do not care.

I went to pre-order it at Radioshack, they shot me down since my Sprint account is a business account.
If anyone is in a Sprint store on Friday that is not crowded, please feel free to post the location on here.
I want this phone, but I am not willing to stand in line for 3 hours to get it...
Stores are getting limited numbers shipped to them. From my buddies list they got a minimum of 20 max of 70. I am guessing that going to a small store would yield the best results. I might switch from Verizon to Sprint for this phone. I will have to do a comparison to see the price difference.
Walmart is also selling the Evo. 199 with no mail in rebate. I'm going to try and grab one at lunch.

Just picked one up from Sprint on Sunset and Western. No line, they have plenty if you are looking for a place with no wait.
(Beverly Center Sprint store had like 25 people outside waiting...)
One bonus was they did the rebate in store for me since I have a business account.
Hmm, I don't have a business account but I do get a discount through my company. Think that's good enough to get the instant rebate?

I'm going to have to wait about a month to buy this. Those of you who already got one, can you test out the mobile wifi, and let me know how well it works? I know they say it can support up to eight devices, but I'm really interested in knowing if it can support online gaming, and how well. I'm thinking if it works really well, then I might be able to ditch my home internet service.
