    Default HTC EVO from Sprint

the Evo 4G sports a 4.3-inch display and runs at a 480 x 800 resolution like the Nexus One (which has a 3.7-inch screen). It also features an insane 8-megapixel camera with Flash (compared to the Nexus Oneís 5-megapixel camera), which supports 720p high-definition video recording. And if thatís not enough, thereís also a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera meant for video conferencing.
Commence drooling: Sprint’s first 4G phone, HTC’s Android-powered Evo 4G, dethrones the Nexus One | VentureBeat

AT&T isn’t expected to roll out its 4G solution until 2011.

Mighty sexy, but it's Sprint. They have crappy reception in the Bay Area.

I can't wait for this phone. This is the 1st HTC phone I've had and nothing but praise, so the Evo should be even better

Looks like Sprint confirmed a June 4 release date. I saw some blogs mention that you would be able to pre-order it at Radio Shack...

Anyone else picking one up? My blackberry bit the dust last week, I am just working with an old LG flipphone. (It's actually nice to not get e-mails every twenty seconds...)

I got an e-mail from Sprint advertising the EVO release date for June 4th. I'll be in line to pick one up. I travel between here and Vegas frequently and the 4G service in Vegas is amazing.

Yeah but they want to stick you with a new service plan. I love my SERO so I am in a bind.

I was just up in Seattle area visiting a friend that works for Sprint. He had the new EVO. It was pretty sweet and there are a ton of little things that are fun to play with. He lives in a 3G area but when we were in Seattle we got 4G and we were watching some McSorely v Probert fights on it.
The battery life is short, he said to treat it like the battery life of your laptop.

Did you happen to test the mobile hot spot function?
