if you're happy with the Rzr the razr2 is coming out soon, wait for that its getting rave reviews. If you just want a good phone w/o all the BS the Moto Krzr or the LG 8700 will fit the bill.
Sounds like you qualify for the New Every two credit so go that route. If you're an additional line on a family plan you will not get a new every two discount. If thats the case look at the Moto V385. Its the Krzr w/o the music player.
May as well get the Krzr since its free anyway with the NE2.
Teh SLVRs a good phone but why waste the 100 credit? if you really want a SlVR get the krzr I'll trade for a slvr.
You can even get the KRZR in Trojan red
I can't stand Moto phones on Verizon. My brief stint with Verizon involved a Rzr Maxx, LG 8700, 9400, and 8600. I enjoyed the 8700 the most out of the four.
Wait until September if I was you, good sir.![]()
As a chick who worked in wireless for the cell phone companies I can agree with the demographic for the phone, but not the stereotype. I had one RAZR for eight months that had constant technical problems (I would say that occasionally changing its own ringtone while sitting in a cupholder and never keeping a charge for longer than four hours is a technical problem not having to do with being a fashion concious female...) and a second that decided it would work for three months and then just die. black screen no lights dead. Oh, and it smoked a little. That was entertaining.
The phone I currently have I LOVE! Nokia 5300. Totally not what the original poster was looking for so Im not suggesting it for him but I tell you this phone is a multitasking champion!
You're a chick!?!?!? Just kidding. I've never heard about those kind of problems. It sounds like you got a bad phone for sure. I love my KRZR. It's fatter than a RAZR but slimmer. I bought it on eBay and it's unlocked and reconfigured to utilize the fastest connection possible from cell towers. Cell companies cut the data rate of cell phones in half so that their towers can handle twice as many calls. My phone has that limitation removed so that cell towers have no choice but to communicate at the faster speed. It has a few quirks but nothing major. It's worked like a champ for me the past few months since I bought it.
I'm out of the loop--what's coming in September?Originally Posted by King Taco
My new phone is due August 29, so I wouldn't be waiting that long.
If you enjoy Moto handsets, the new Rzr2 should be out by then as well as a few new offerings by samsung and lg. Of course, it's Verizon, so there will probably be delays.
New phones tend to come out for back to school sales. Your option to upgrade will come at just the right time.
