Some people will just stick by Sony no matter what they make. And you can never convince them otherwise. Not saying this is the case here.Quote:

The most satisfied customers (from my own off and on months of shopping/researching TVs and reading customer and professional reviews) were from Samsung, Pioneer, Sharp, and Sony. These brands cost a bit more, but you usually get what you pay for. I got lucky with a good sale price (i now refuse to look at prices after the fact because i'm sure it will pop up for less than i paid next week) I realize that there are many great (or even better) brands out there other than the one I chose. I was just throwing out my own personal review.
I just read that Blockbuster is going to only carry BluRay in the future and drop HD DVDs from their choices. Its looking more and more like BluRay is the way to go.

Don't know if this will help you out or not but I have a 32" Westinghouse LCD that only cost me $450 from Best Buy. I use it as a secondary TV for my bedroom (other TV is a 42" Sony LCD). I've been able to connect my PC directly to it also I have my Xbox Elite and Nintendo Wii. Also my cable box is connected using the RGB component cables and so far I have no complaints.
