Really though...as a tech geek, with disposable income...WHY do I need this???? Someone please give me the hard fast pitch. Why is this better than a netbook?

It's a sleeker, cheaper computer, and it'll change the game. For those complaining that it doesn't have wide screen, etc, etc, etc that's why they come out with a new model every year like the iphone. It's smart business to keep updating every year.

Do I want one? Yes. Do I need one? No. I have an iphone and macbook Pro. If you have a POS computer and don't have $1k to spend buy this.

I'm a major Apple fan. Own two Minis, two iPhones, two iPods, and a MacBook Pro. Having said that, I have absolutely zero use for the iPad. It does nothing more than my iPhone does at the moment.

Differences:
iPhone - makes calls
iPad - larger screen
