The cheapest current plan is $59 (450 min, 200 SMS, unlimited data) plus tax.
The cheapest 3g plan is $39 (450 min) plus 3g plan (unlimited data) that is $30 plus tax.

If you buy a 3g iPhone, you HAVE to pay the 3g data plan, even if you don't live in a 3g area and/or don't need it.

It comes out on 7/11/08. See you in line!

how's it going to do internationally?

I know **** of this "3G network" stuff.

3G= Faster data speeds adn more users on same cellsite. IN THEORY better reception. It also allows you to stream music and video betters(faster) you get the added advantage of Cellular Video and eventually Video calling, later this year. you will not be able to get TV, CV or Video calling without 3G

The reason the first iPhone didn't do well internationally is because Europe is all 3G and the first iPhone was not on the 3G network. I hear the new iPhone will be released EVERYWHERE.
