I saw a good 200 lined up inside a mall in North Hollywood.....It was insane

The purchase at Apple was smooth and they had enough for people like me, who showed up very late, to purchase without any big delay.

The down? As birdman pointed out, the activation through att is a PITA!!! I don't know what Apple was thinking when they decided to do a 5 yr. deal with them.


I'd love to eat crow on this, but I don't see how this will turn up unlocked. If you get one, please PM asap so I don't have to deal with att's crap!!

I have mine activated and I love it so far, I will have a better review after the weekend.

I walked into the Apple store at 9:30 yesterday and didnt even have to wait in line.

Mine was activated at 5am.

Jury is still out, but I dumped all my Apple and AT&T Stock

I heard it doesn't use qwerty. It uses scrolling keyboard.
