Also, I heard a report awhile back talking about how far behind the US is in cellphones. They were placig the blame on the carriers. The carriers want control of everything so that they can charge additional charges for certain uses. US companies make the manufacturers inhibit a lot of features. For example, Verizon will not let you transfer pics to your PC via bluetooth so that they can charge you for sending them as a message. That is why some people buy unlocked phones from overseas.

I have the HTC Tytn or known here as the Cingular 8525.
Great phone, you can do so much with it. They even developed a Iphone skin for the HTC, 8125 & 8525, looks just like the real thing. GPS, SKype, Slingbox NES, SNES, Gameboy advance emulator, just to name a few apps I have. Edit, write send Excel and Word files for example.
Look up the debacle of why the US has the worst mobile service in the WORLD. Look it and read about it very informative. The US really dropped the ball, while the US fought about control of the cell technology the rest of the world took it an just ran with it. That is why we are more then 10 years behind in cell technology.
