iTouch fried :((
So, my iTouch just turned 1yr old in December, and today I went to charge it up and after 20 minutes I noticed that it was not chraging at all.
So I unplugged the provided Apple power cord, and replugged it in and left it again for 5 minutes. When I checked it, it ractically burned my hand as I picked it up, and it smelled like fried electronics....
Needless to say.....it is now dead. My most favorite gadget EVER in the whole world, and now its gone.....
how depressing.

Take it to the Apple store. They will prob give you what they gave me, they took my Gen 1 and exchanged it with the current model for $60.

There was a replacement program in Japan for iPod Touches that fried within a year or so. I don't see why they wouldn't exchange it.

I would definitely take it to the Apple store. You will most likely get a replacement for a newer model for either free of charge or a small price.
