First I added a deep red filter. Then I cut and pasted the cloud of death and turned the opacity down a bit. Heres the original cloud pic.

unfortunately there was an aftermath...


I located the photo stock images I needed, and downloaded them.
This was all masking and resizing except for the beach, where I
added a little brown layer to darken it. I didn't spend much time on it.
It was kind of a spur of the moment thing.

Then the **** hit the fan when Cthulhu was awakened by the blast.

Pretty much did the same thing to this as I did my first image.
Found the Dino stock photo I needed, downloaded it, and masked the Dino.
Using parts of the Dino's skin, I cloned in skin over black ares.
Generated fire by simply making a selection and filling with a gradient
pattern from the palette. Then distorted using the Ripple filter in the Distort area.
