    Default Looking for a netbook...

    What should I go for? More hard-drive??? More memory???? What would be a good mid to low priced netbook that can grow? Anyone?????

    I was at Fry's today and they had a bunch of them for pretty cheap. I am not a computer dude, but I would make sure that it has Windows 7, not sure what version. Saw a 2gig with 250 gigs harddrive with Windows 7 (not beginner) for about 500-600. If you go the Fry's route do not buy an open box.

    Windows 7 starter is nice. you can easily find one with the same HD but 1 gb of ram for about 300...you guys can always e mail me and I'll give you advice! You know this!

    i have a dell mini10v. It came with XP but I installed OS X on it. I'd recommend it.

    How did you do that? Can you do that w/ Ubuntu Linux too?

    Yes. OS X on a Dell Mini was my main Internet browser until I sold it and purchased an iPad.

    Wow! Can I do it to any PC, laptop /notebook / desktop? Does it have to be a Dell?

    It will only work on a very limited number of computers. I don't know the particulars but I know it works with the Dell Mini 9 and Dell Mini 10v (not the Mini 10 though) because they use a graphics card that is used in a certain mac (and thus supported in the OS)
