    AppleCare via educational is discounted 20-25%. (The MacBook AppleCare discounted price is $183 instead of $249.)

    My girlfriend's last macbook needed the logic board and display both replaced over time, so the apple care was definitely worth it. If we didn't have it the repairs would have been well over a grand...
