Take advantage of that education discount, my friend.

    Damn skippy!

AppleCare via educational is discounted 20-25%. (The MacBook AppleCare discounted price is $183 instead of $249.)

What type of consumer are you? Do you like to replace your computer on an annual basis or do you own it until it breaks?

.Mac: if you travel a lot, this could come in handy. If you enjoy displaying photos and other media, consider it. There is a 30 day trial when you purchase a computer.

My girlfriend's last macbook needed the logic board and display both replaced over time, so the apple care was definitely worth it. If we didn't have it the repairs would have been well over a grand...

My roommate made this hilarious parody video of the Macbook Air commercial. It's NSFW due to language (probably ok if you got some headphones).

    I REPEAT! NSFW! NAUGHTY LANGUAGE!

Thanks Taco, Sir JW, Creeping Death, Unfiltered, Bandit.....

I should be on board (via Mac) some time this weekend. I'll likely pay the $183 bump for the protection. What the hell; beats a sharp stick in the eye.

    New toys kick arse.

Here is the breakdown for both the MacBooks and MacBook Pros that we updated last month.
