I've had wxunderground, Accuweather and TWC on my Palm Treo now for 4 years now. Each has its good points. I use all three apps when I'm in the boat to monitor the daily thunderstorms we have pop up here in the Mid Atlantic. There's not a worse feeling than seeing a "Angry Anvil" between you and home.

I tend to lean more towards Accuweather because of the storm tracker feature. It gives you projected storm tracks so I can adjust my course to go around the cells. I'll prolly go with that.

Just curious why the iPhone thread was merged with the Droid? They are not the same operating system or company...

I can only guess it's because most apps are available for both operating systems (iOS & Android)

Right, but why not include that in the name? I see this thread and I don't think to look for iPhone...

If the title is changed, maybe add iPad to it also? Just so we get all of it into one thread.

I just posted this in the Blackberry vs DROID thread, and thought it would be best to post this in this thread as well.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed in here, and I really don't feel like going back through the pages, but if you turn off your mobile networks before starting up any game, it will disable the ads. Angry Birds plays much smoother this way, and their are no ads obstructing your view.

Of course, I wouldn't recommend turning off your networks for apps that rely on data networks to serve their purpose.
