I'm not sure if this has been discussed in here, and I really don't feel like going back through the pages, but if you turn off your mobile networks before starting up any game, it will disable the ads. Angry Birds plays much smoother this way, and their are no ads obstructing your view.

Of course, I wouldn't recommend turning off your networks for apps that rely on data networks to serve their purpose.

Or just download AdFree which blocks all ads.

Yea, I'm thinking of rooting my phone too. I hate not being able to delete certain apps (Amazon MP3 which is always running and Verizon Navigator).

Ah, yah it does. Sorry if I got your hopes up. I do recommend rooting though. If you don't like it you can always unroot. It's worth it for adfree and wireless tether alone.

I just got the Motorola Blur/Devour and I love the Android Market. Sooooo much better than the Blackberry App World. I can play Sega Genesis and NES Emulators to keep me occupied. Couldn't do that with the Storm since the phone was 1 big button (and didn't have multi-touch.) I gotta go through this thread and see what apps I'm missing out on.
