My vizio plasma tv exploded

Costco has Receipts in the Customer Service Computers.
I have returned many of things with out a receipt.
They look it up and there it is..
On items that I returned a year or so later.

Costco changed their return policy on electronics about a year ago. They give 90 days to return a product but double the manufacturers warranty. Not sure if this will apply to your Vizio since it was purchased before their change in policy.

How did you get your 3 replacements? Do you have the extended warranty? Vizio only seemed to care about the warranty I had, rather than having some sort of explanation for why the television they built doesn't work anymore.

They all crapped out in less than a year after my initial purchase, if you can believe that.

Just last weekend I heard 3 blowup about 2 blocks away at 3:20 am.

Who do you think manufactures the parts for vizio? They sure as hell don't. My memory is a little fuzzy at the moment but when one of the techs took my tv apart all the major components were either panasonic of phillips.

Compare a Vizio plasma or LCD to a Panasonic plasma or a Samsung LCD. While Vizio may get their parts from big name manufacturers, they simply can't compete in the picture quality department.

Not to mention that you're pretty much **** out of luck if your Vizio breaks out of warranty. Good luck trying to get parts for it.
